The A Bird in Hand Project App invited users to get their hands dirty by swiping to "clean" an animal right on their iPhone. The app, downloadable for a donation, asked donors to wipe their screen clear of oil, revealing one of the many species in the Gulf Coast the contribution helped protect and preserve.
